Common questions

Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone, in the app. Overload has no account and no servers, so nothing you log leaves your device unless you export it.

How do I back up or move my data?
In Settings, Export workout history saves it to a file; Import workout history reads it back, on the same iPhone or another. Importing the same file twice is safe. Your iPhone's own backups include Overload's data too.

Why does Overload ask for Apple Health access?
To save your workouts to Apple Health so they count toward your activity rings, and to show heart rate, calories and recovery trends. Every permission is optional; Overload works without them. Change them any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps → Overload.

Heart rate or calories aren't showing.
They come from Apple Watch through Apple Health. Check that Overload is allowed to read Heart Rate and Active Energy in the Health app, and give the watch a few minutes to sync after a workout.

The Apple Watch app doesn't show my workouts.
Open Overload on your iPhone once with the watch nearby; the list syncs when the phone app runs. Only workouts with at least one exercise appear on the watch.

How do I delete my data?
In Settings, Delete all data removes everything Overload has stored, after offering an export first. Workouts Overload saved to Apple Health stay there; delete them in the Health app if you want them gone. Deleting the app removes its data too.
